How I feel about sports
So, we went to the Dodger’s game last night and it was pretty awesome.
They won, 8-4. Nomar wasn’t playing, but I ended up buying a shirt with his name on it. The Padres got a base hit off a ball that got stuck in Angel Berroa’s jersey, and Ethier got some nice swings in.
I used to watch a lot of baseball when I was a kid. Not so much for the last 15 years or so, but then Curt came along and now we watch the Dodgers. I like baseball. I find it satisfying. Every time someone steps up to the plate, it’s like someone may win the lottery! You don’t get this in other sports. There are not enough chances at scoring, or too many. With baseball, the possibilities abound.
Plus, they wear uniforms that show off their butts, and I’m only human. ;)
And now comes the part where I talk about the cute ones on the team.

That’s Nomar Garciaparra. He’s a favorite, just ’cause he reminds me of that actor that was in Dawn of the Dead, and, hell: his name is NOMAR. He’s married to Mia Hamm. Curt was chagrined when I decided to buy his shirt, since Curt says he’s not a real Dodger. This is probably true. He’s always injured, and will probably be released next year.

This is Jonathan Broxton. He is the Dodgers’ closer. And OMG, he is a big, big, big boy. Like a big, big, big snowman on that mound of his.

Clayton Kershaw: the kid. He’s like 20 years old, almost, or something. Some sweet pitches come from this fellow, but he can get a little wild when he’s under pressure.

And this is the absolutely gorgeous Andre Ethier. I don’t think this man could be more gorgeous. He’s young, he’s hitting his stride, and oh, did I mention he’s freakin’ gorgeous? ;)

Everyone loves Manny Ramirez and his really really big pants! Great hitter, and a heck of a fun personality. ;)
