I bring up this relatively untraumatic and foreseen death because Ray counted my grandmother’s funeral as our third date. He was a genius at being there for me when I didn’t want or need him.

In an effort to cheer myself up with money, I have gone and bought some very ridiculous things. I bought the third season of “Frasier”, the whole series of “The Office”, the aforementioned book The Pursuit Of Alice Thrift, which was okay, and The Plague by Camus, because obviously, there is nothing so cheerful as existentialism.

Well, I’m off, to wallow in my happiness at being home. ;)
