“How are you today? I haven’t talked to you at all.”

No reply.

“Okay – don’t answer me.”

No reply.

“…or even look at me.”

No reply.

He walked out the door after that, not being one really to dwell on things like why his assistant isn’t paying attention to him. The reason was, of course, I was working, thanks very much. And, also, my iPod was on too loud in my other ear for me to hear what he was saying quickly enough. ;)

Yes – I love: my. iPod. Music, everywhere I go. It is not the world – but it is enough, on the hard days.
