Two things, and then some more:

1. I’ve been singing along to Karaoke Revolution for the last three hours, and my throat hurts. My chosen character is a red headed guy in a cat suit. He’s teaching me some nifty dance moves.

2. It’s hard to sing “Natural Woman” without being able to belt it out, but it’s midnight and belting isn’t an option.

Ah, karaoke: finally, I have something with which to combat the forces of evil and bad hip-hop from our obnoxious neighbors. Next time they turn that shit up, I’m going to crank up the stereo as loud as it will go and sing “Take On Me”. And, no, I cannot hit that note. It’ll be AWESOME.

Meanwhile, the crowd is turning on me on “Endless Love”. It’s all over. They just shut down the cat. Rough, man.

There’s something very annoying beeping outside. It’s been beeping all freakin’ day. Someone is not batterying their fire alarm. Which is alarming on two levels. Right now, it’s annoying because I’m going to have to listen to the stupid thing while trying to sleep.

The day was otherwise quiet. Curt worked, I stayed home and cleaned the house, played some video games, read some, planned some honeymoon, did laundry, made turkey burger patties, went for a run, and, as you know, sang. A good day.

Now I’m going to play Fatal Frame II. It’s gonna scare the hell out of me. I can’t bear to look in mirrors when I’m scared. Mirrors are bad news when you’re freaked out, man. So many things can go wrong…

Crap. I need to go the bathroom and there’s a mirror right there. AHhhhhh!
